A San Francisco bookstore is making waves for putting its money where its mouth is by halting its sales of all Harry Potter books as billionaire author JK Rowling increasingly spends her fortune on decimating trans rights.

In a blog post titled Wizards, but not That Wizard, staff of The Booksmith explained the store would no longer carry Rowling’s work since she announced in May her public commitment to using her private wealth from the Harry Potter series to develop the ‘JK Rowling Women’s Fund,’ an organization dedicated to removing transgender rights ‘in the workplace, in public life, and in protected female spaces.’”

The staff wrote that they don’t know exactly what this fund will entail, but “we know that we aren’t going to be a part of it.”

On its website, the fund says it offers funding for legal support to both organizations and individuals “fighting to retain women’s sex-based rights.”

“As a group of queer booksellers, we also had our adolescents shaped by wizards and elves,” the booksellers’ post continued, adding a joke for a little levity. “Look at us, it’s obvious.”

They said that anyone who still wants to purchase Harry Potter books should buy them used, but also offered a list of other books that provide similar wizarding vibes.

“Happy reading,” they signed off, “solidarity forever.”

Rowling has become increasingly vicious in her quest to dismantle trans rights since she first emerged as part of the TERF movement several years ago.

In one particularly cruel gesture, Rowling posted a celebratory photo of herself after the U.K. Supreme Court ruled that trans women are not to be considered women under the 2010 Equality Act.

In the photo, Rowling sits on a balcony overlooking the ocean, holding a cocktail and smoking a cigar while wearing a self-satisfied smirk.

“I love it when a plan comes together,” she wrote, adding “#SupremeCourt #WomensRights” to ensure people knew exactly what she was referring to.

Rowling has since suggested that folks should photograph women in toilets in case they’re transgender.
